Alicia Grullón
This participatory public performance transforms a New York City sidewalk into a stage where performers, participants, and passersby reenact real moral dilemmas drawn from The New York Times Magazine’s “The Ethicist” column. Audience members are invited to step into each scene, propose alternative actions, and collectively reshape the outcome. By turning everyday conflict into collaborative performance, the project fosters radical empathy, creative problem-solving, and social connection, demonstrating how communities can reclaim shared agency and strengthen neighborhood bonds through collective action.
