The AiOP 2026: UTOPIAS team and Thinkers in Residence invite you to imagine, question, disagree, and contribute your own ideas about what it takes to build a better world together. We will talk about invitations, inclusion, generosity, and what happens when there is not enough room for every good idea. If utopia is something we make together, how do we make more room for one another along the way?

Right when clocks in New York City mark 12:01 AM on September 26, 2026, Nicolás will convene with a small cadre at a public yet clandestine location on 14th Street in Manhattan, to bestow a blessing on Art in Odd Places (AiOP). This is meant to be the very first gesture for the 2026 Festival, hence releasing a spiritual and energetic reverberation throughout two unfolding days of actions in our streets.

Justo cuando los relojes de la ciudad de Nueva York marquen las 12:01 a. m. del 26 de septiembre de 2026, Nicolás se reunirá con un pequeño grupo en un lugar público, pero clandestino, de la calle 14 en Manhattan, para otorgar una bendición a Art in Odd Places (AiOP). Este gesto está concebido como la primera acción del Festival 2026, liberando así una reverberación espiritual y energética a lo largo de los dos días de acciones que se desplegarán en nuestras calles.
