Whose vision of utopia are we currently living in and how might we craft a new one? Mr. Plastique is a drag, audience-interactive performance on the polyethylene (“Saran wrap”) in our brains and the dark, secret journeys that it has taken to get there. Look out for a dapper gentleman in blue, white, and Saran who may or may not be a piece of plastic himself.

Erin Amlicke is a Brooklyn-based, Tennessee-bred actor & writer who is obsessed with turning inside out what’s familiar and finding out what’s lurking there. You can catch her onstage, in the street, or at La Mama ETC’s Care Cafés every month. Mr. Plastique was created in collaboration with Lillian White and Gloria María Chong Yparraguirre, through their collective, Frontera Flotante.
