Beginning alone, she moves through 14th Street, gradually drawing strangers into a shared celebration of movement, joy, and connection. Audiences should look for the moment when spectators become participants and an everyday city street transforms into a collective dance floor. Through music, movement, and invitation, the performance creates a temporary space where strangers can experience togetherness, freedom, and the possibility of collective liberation.

Qween Amor is a New York–based Trans Afro-Cuban American artist and activist whose work fuses performance, dance, and social justice. Emerging from Occupy Wall Street, she has spent over a decade embodying Mary Magdalene as a living symbol of love, resistance, and liberation. Her work confronts systemic injustice, challenges the weaponization of religion, and reclaims identity while centering marginalized communities.
