Yasmeen Abdallah, C.Y. Chen and Amanda Wu
The Gambit consist of three artists playing our “Monopoly” inspired board game with the people on 14th Street in Manhattan. The board game reminds participants and passersby of the consequences of real life scenarios. We distribute zines with resources for people to take with them, learn more about the interconnectedness of these serious issues, and create an opportunity for deep dialogue.

About the Artist(s)
Yasmeen Abdallah compounds the political and the personal, contemplating the human condition through evolutionary processes and social constructs. Referencing histories and current events, the work serves as a reflection of the intensity and dystopia impacting the function of news, systems and laws at play around the world.
Amanda Wu is a concept and mixed media environmentalist artist who focuses on the climate crisis, social justice, and how we directly impact the world. She has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Amanda has always had a passion for the environment which greatly influences her art practice.
C.Y. Ying Chen is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Jackson Heights, New York.
