Óldo Erréve & Lechedevirgen Trimegisto
OME, number two in Náhuatl—an invocation of Teocintli, sacred corn, and Ometéotl, deity of duality. A trans-temporal dual avatar that, through a pilgrimage ritual and an altar of dark corn, confronts shared historical challenges and marks the periphery-center relationship parallel to territorial movement and urban displacement. Corn—as a spiritual guide—creates a liminal space that, through the magic of contact, invites the audience to blur the boundaries imposed on dissident bodies and identities. The artists are transformed into a portal-border-deity.
