ENTUNG LIU
Weaving You is a participatory installation in which passersby weave strips of fabric printed with AI-generated passport-style portraits into evolving collective faces. The portraits reflect how technology can generate and define identities, while the act of weaving brings identity back into human hands. Visitors are invited to reshape the images and share stories of their lives before and after coming to New York. As individual faces are transformed through collective action, the work imagines a utopia where identity and belonging are not assigned, but continually woven together by people.

About the Artist(s)
LIU ENTUNG is an interdisciplinary artist exploring visual art, performance, and technology through her practice “Body of Technology.” Her work investigates how technology shapes bodily perception and identity. She was selected for the NYFA 2026 Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program, and her work has been exhibited and performed internationally.
