Geraldo Zamproni
TRIZ is a site-specific inflatable installation in which a vertical stack of oversized cushions appears to support an existing architectural structure. Soft, unstable domestic forms temporarily assume the role of solid structural elements, creating a visual tension between weight and lightness, stability and fragility. The work invites passersby to encounter a familiar object displaced into an unexpected architectural role.

Geraldo Zamproni is a Brazilian visual artist based in Curitiba. His practice explores instability, scale and the displacement of familiar objects through installations and interventions in public space. His work has been presented in Brazil and internationally, including previous editions of Art in Odd Places.
